I am honored to join the industry’s best as a Founding Advisor at Engel & Völker’s Chicago North Shore. Over the last several years, I have earned the confidence of my clients by serving as an advisor for life. I am an effective communicator, care about the outcome, and do the right thing, always. I love working with clients of all backgrounds and price points. I also enjoy supporting my home builder clients with my experience in land acquisition and home design. I know my way around the entire North Shore, especially Wilmette’s Romona School District 39 where I am raising my family.
I am a native Midwesterner and embrace the traditional values that accompany my small-town upbringing. My three children are my greatest gifts. Together, we have enjoyed everything that the North Shore has to offer, especially music, the arts and sports. My kids have participated in gymnastics at the rec center in Wilmette, hip hop at Urban Beat Dance in Skokie, soccer in Northfield, AAU basketball in Evanston, as well as basketball, soccer and football for New Trier. As a mom, I can hold my own on the basketball court, toss a perfect spiral, and I love to cheer for our favorite college teams. Our Goldendoodle, Miles, completes our family.
As a single parent, I have a special place in my heart for women who are courageous, resilient and desire to have a better life. For that reason, I partnered with You Can Make It Inc., a charity that helps get homeless families off the streets and into homes of their own. Most of those in need are single women who are on the street due to domestic violence or economic hardship. Every week, I reach out to clients, estate sales, etc. and collect household goods, and on Saturdays, we drive down to Chicago’s south side, and help furnish homes for these families. Sometimes, I brought my children who were happy to share their toys. I am thankful for the opportunity to make a difference.
Music is my passion. I play the trumpet and piano, and received multiple degrees in music including a Master of Music from Northwestern University. On special occasions, I brought live music to the You Can Make It Inc. shelter, and continue to share it whenever I can. Music is a universal language that brings people together; through music, we can build bridges between different values and cultures and make the world a better place.
